Datalytis is a social media management platform that allows users to connect and manage social media accounts (including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Google services, and other supported platforms) in order to create, schedule, publish content, and view analytics.

All integrations are initiated, authorized, and controlled by the user through each platform’s official OAuth authorization process.


2. Information We Collect

a. Information Provided Directly by Users

We collect information users voluntarily provide when registering or using the Service, such as:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Account settings and preferences


b. Information from Connected Social Platforms

When users connect third-party platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), we receive only the data explicitly permitted by the user through the platform’s authorization process.

This may include:

  • Account or Page identifiers

  • Profile or Page metadata

  • Content created, scheduled, or managed via Datalytis

  • Aggregated engagement metrics (likes count, comments count, shares, impressions)

We never collect passwords for connected platforms.


c. Information from Google and YouTube Services

When users connect Google or YouTube accounts, we receive limited Google user data authorized via Google OAuth and Google APIs.

This may include:

  • Account or channel identifiers

  • Basic account metadata

  • Video metadata and publishing status

  • Analytics and performance metrics (views, likes, engagement statistics)

We do not collect Google account passwords or sensitive authentication credentials.


3. How We Use Collected Information

We use collected data solely to:

  • Provide core Datalytis services

  • Enable content publishing and scheduling

  • Display analytics and performance insights

  • Maintain account security and service integrity

  • Improve platform performance and reliability

a. Facebook & Instagram Data

Facebook and Instagram data is used exclusively to:

  • Display Pages and connected Instagram Business accounts

  • Publish and manage content

  • Retrieve aggregated engagement insights

  • Maintain scheduled posts and drafts

We do not use Meta data for advertising, scraping, profiling, or competitor analysis.


b. TikTok Data

TikTok data is used exclusively to:

  • Upload and publish user-approved content

  • Manage scheduled posts

  • Display aggregated performance metrics


c. Google & YouTube Data

Google user data is accessed only after explicit authorization and is used strictly to:

  • Connect and manage YouTube or Google-linked accounts

  • Publish and manage content

  • Display analytics and performance insights

Google user data is never used for advertising, data resale, or unrelated purposes.


5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share user data with third parties.

User data may be shared only:

  • With the relevant platform’s APIs (Meta, TikTok, Google, etc.)

  • For the sole purpose of performing user-requested actions

  • In accordance with each platform’s developer and data use policies

All access tokens and sensitive data are stored securely using industry-standard encryption and access controls.

Only authorized systems can access data to perform user-approved actions. We regularly review access permissions to minimize exposure.


7. Data Retention and Deletion

User data is retained only while the user maintains an active account or as necessary to provide the Service.

Users may request deletion of their data at any time by contacting info@datalytis.com. Upon request, data will be deleted or anonymized within a reasonable timeframe unless retention is required by law or platform policy.

Users may also revoke access directly from:

  • Facebook Business Integrations

  • Google Account Security settings

  • TikTok App permissions


8. User Control

Users have full control over connected accounts and may:

  • Disconnect integrations at any time

  • Revoke permissions directly from the platform

  • Request data access or deletion
